About the Author

Dr. Prashant Jagtap, a former Assistant Commandant of CISF, is also a doctor by qualification and a teacher by passion. He was an officer of 2012 batch UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant examination and was allocated to CISF, one of most elite Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) of Union of India. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kolhapur. And M.A. Psychology from IGNOU. His previous work experience includes Medical Officer (Group A) for Government of Maharashtra and Assistant Lecturer in Government Medical college, Kolhapur in Forensic Medicine Department. Presently working as one of the top educators of Unacademy, Dr. Jagtap conducts online classes for CAPF Assistant Commandant and CDS examination. He also mentors for the CAPF interviews in New Delhi and Pune. He is the director of Pathfinders’ Academy for CAPF, a specialised coaching center for CAPF based in Pune and New Delhi. His video lessons can be found on YouTube on CAPF PATHFINDERS and his Telegram group CAPFPATHFINDERS. Dr. Jagtap was awarded two commendation awards during his basic training at National Industrial Security Academy (NISA), Hyderabad.
